Well hello again!
I hope your weekend was eventful! Mine was for sure. I went to a friends wedding and they got married in a ghost town! It was pretty sweet! They used the old church building, which had five small pews on each side. It was tiny! And of course lots of good times.
Well, this week we get back into the swing of things. This month we have some really awesome stuff ahead! Here's what you need to know:
Jr. High -This Friday October 10th
HAY RIDE
This is going to be great! We are meeting earlier than normal for this. Please be at the Church for 6:00 pm. I made that big so that you would remember. We will leave from the church and head out to MP stables. There will be a bonfire after wards. Please dress warm as it will be very cold!
The cost for this event is $10. >>And just a reminder that any of our events that have a cost involved, if you bring someone who can't afford the cost, or you are not able for whatever reason, please talk to me and we can subsidize the cost for you. We would rather you come than not at all!
Be there! It will be great!
Sr. High - Next Friday- October 17th
MILLION DOLLAR SHOPPING SPREE
Okay -imagine that you just won a West Edmonton Mall Gift Certificate...for a MILLION DOLLARS!!!
How would you spend it? But the better question might be- COULD you spend it?
We don't think that you could spend a million dollars in one night at WEM.
Prove us wrong.
Cost for this event is $5 for the bus.
Nice.
DOUBLE EVENT!!!
And last but not least, the end of the month will bring us a guest speaker. Her name is Lyndell Cambel, and she is going to be speaking to the group about her experiences as a missionary! You don't want to miss this opportunity. Please come out for a casual night with some fun and games, and to hear how God has worked through Lyndell and her life as a missionary, as she spreads the message of Christ and teaching others to do the same.
Don't miss this!
Also, I was pondering the idea of beginning the Student Leadership/Discipleship group again. I know some of you might be interested. Drop me an email if you are interested in learning more.
Well, that's it for this week!
As Kip would say, peace out.
Justin
