Wow. What a great weekend!
I sure had a great time this weekend at Youth Quake. I enjoyed the music and the loads of things to do! I didn’t even get to see everything (I missed the Juggler!-I heard he was awesome!). I even learned a lot too. Awesome. I trust that you all had a great time too!
Did any of you go to Missions Fest? I would love to hear about it!
Sorry that this isn’t getting sent out as an email to everyone. The email problem is not remedied yet.
So, just a heads up of what’s happening:
180
Wednesday, we are going to hear about everyone’s experience at YQ and Missions Fest. We will watch a little of the DVD from YQ and talk about some to the information (Ullman’s stuff). Bring all your stories!
Friday Mini Prayer Retreat/Concert of Prayer
We are not sure what to call it. Perhaps it will be a little of both. This Friday, we are going to meet at the Church at 7pm for an evening of prayer. We will pray for about 4 hours. We will spend some time praying together, and some time praying in silence. We may also have a communion together. It will be an amazing time.
So, here’s the details:
Friday March 2nd
At SVBC
7-11pm
Bring: A Bible, A pen and note book,
a book for spiritual reading
(no schoolwork please!)
Friday Night Youth
March 9th -- This event is a double event (Jr. And Sr. High), here by your popular demand, and will be one of the most memorable events ever. We are going to have dinner with the prime timers group! Here’s a brief summary of how it works: Groups of 6-7 youth (and leader) go for dinner hosted at a prime timer’s home. You will be able to ask them questions and play some games together to get to know them and for them to get to know you! And just so you know, this will be a great event to bring your friends out to if they like food, meeting new people, and having fun! Afterwards you will be serving them dessert here at the church, and having some more goofy fun! We look forward to you all coming! **************NOTE: Because this event is for dinner, everyone will meet at the church for 6:30 pm we will leave then to arrive on time.***************
That’s about all I have for you now, hopefully the email will be up soon! Keep checking the blog for more updates until then!
In His grip,
Justin
