Hey Everyone!

This is going to be short. I promise!

Youth Quakers (heh heh, Quakers...), If I don’t have your emergency contact info, I need that or you can’t get on the bus! I attached the form to the last email, if you need another, just send me an email. I confirmed times with the driver:

We will be loading the bus at 4:30 AM Friday morning. Please try to be there by 4:00 AM, so we can make sure we have everyone, and everyone’s luggage!

What to bring:

  • Sleeping things – sleeping bag, pillow, teddy bear, sleeping mat etc.
  • Things to make you look and especially smell good: toothpaste, shampoo and other toiletries
  • Thinking things: Bible, note book, pen.

There and Back:

  • We will be taking two vehicles; a fifteen passenger van and a mini van. This gives us seats for nineteen people (taking luggage into account).
  • We will be meeting at the church at 6:00 AM on Friday February 25. The sooner we leave the better. There is an air show by the Snowbirds at 2 PM, if we are lucky we can catch some of this, but we need to be there by 5:00 PM for dinner.
  • Bring money or a bag lunch for Friday. We will be eating supper at YQ; we will not stop for breakfast.
  • We will be back at the church at about 9:00 PM on Sunday.
  • Bring some cash to buy Lunch and Supper on Sunday.

Getting the most out of YQ

    1. Everyone is expected to be in their rooms at the specified time each night.
    2. Everyone is expected to remain on campus and attend all scheduled activities.
    3. Girls must stay in the girls’ dorms and guys in the guys’ dorms.
    4. There are Briercrest staff and students who have volunteered as the “Here 4 You” crew. They are there to give you guidance, directions and help. If you are up to no good their guidance and directions may be more like punishment and reprimanding.
    5. CD, mp3 players, and other valuables are brought at your own risk.
    6. At registration you will get your YQ pass (your name tag) do not loose this, it is your pass to everything.
    7. There will be Merch (hipster language for merchandise) for YQ and the Bands…you might want to bring some money (they are equipped for ATM).
