Hey!

I think that there are some of you who don't have your Fast Fast forms yet! If you still don't know about the fast fast, it is a great time and an all nighter at the church, with games, movies, friends, and freezies and slurpies. It's a lot of fun. And best of all, the money raised supports three great ministries, including continued support for Tiaira at the Chain of Love Orphanage in Brazil!

And it's not too late!

If you still want to come, there are only 3 things you need to do!
1. Get a form and envelopes
2. Raise at least $30 of support (family, friends, teachers etc)
3. Show up on Friday with some overnight gear!

Every little bit we raise helps make a difference. Come out and have a blast!

**If you can't stay overnight, that's fine! Just join us whenever you can!
***This year the first place prize is THIS:http://bit.ly/aMWOA4 Second Place prize is THIS: http://bit.ly/bauMXA
And everyone who raises $300 or more gets a free T-Shirt! HOTSAUCE!!

Fasting begins on Friday at 2 AM and goes until Saturday 8 AM
We meet at the church at 7pm on Friday and are finished Saturday around 10 - 11 am

What is NEW this year??

Well Justin, I'm glad you asked. This year we will have TWO new elements added to the Fast Fast:

1. Art Cafe' >> Hang out, have a drink, bring a sketchpad and pencils, and learn to draw with two of our Sponsors who will be sharing some of their talent and knowledge with you. Share together, learn together. Very cool cat. Maybe they will put on some jazz too.

2. Jam Session >> Bring some berries and some sugar, no wait we are fasting... so instead, bring your instrument of choice, and jam together as one of our leaders will take you through learning some new songs together, as well as just hanging out jamming together. Whether tuba, keyboard, or piccolo, bring your instrument of choice if you want to participate in this.

These will be happing along with all the other regular activities that night. It will be a blast!

What to bring:

Overnight gear -foamies, toiletries, sleeping bags, toothbrush, etc
Computer- this year if you would like, feel free to bring your computers to hook up to play some network games
Video game system -if you feel comfortable with that, clean church appropriate games only -
Sports equip - hockey sticks/pads or anything else you think you want
Indoor gym shoes
Instruments -if you feel like jaming

What NOT to Bring:

Sharp rusty objects
Fish
Food
Weapons (swords, throwing stars, nunchucks, bostaffs etc.)

See you there!

Justin
