Hey all, this is what's happening so that you are in the know (This will be really short!)
THIS WEEK
This week is our guest speaker Lyndell Campbel, She is joining us form Brazil! I'm looking forward to hearing her speak. I hope you are too! Also for the night we will have some music, and there will be some light snacks, and some refreshments. I'm hoping the night will resemble the Road a bit for those who are familiar with that. Also I'm still looking for a couple more people to bring some baking if able. Thnaks to those who have already contacted me, and if you are interested, please let me know. Sweet.
The start time for this event is 7 pm. and will likely end a bit earlier than a normal youth night. (It's looking about 9-9:30ish, judging by the schedule). Please be prepared to have an earlier pickup.
NEXT WEEK
Nothing planned for Friday, but Sunday (November 2nd) is our Mini Prayer Retreat. This event is open to everyone. Last year we just did the youth group, but everyone who attended the last time really enjoyed it and we had a lot of interest from outside the youth group, so this year it is open to any age in our church. This event is necessarily going to be appealing to everyone. This event is specifically to spend a large amount of time in prayer, fasting, solitude and silence. Literally we will be praying for 4 hours. There will be some teaching on prayer as well as some time in solitude and silence. Please come to this event if you are serious about spending time in prayer. It will be a great time.
The Mini Prayer Retreat will be from 6-10pm Sunday November 2nd.
2nd WEEK IN NOVEMBER
This is a DOUBLE event- Mission Impossible-Chemical Interference. It's going to be intense! Invite friends and Dallas will be sharing the message that evening.
