Huge Thanks!

Hey all!

I just have to say what a great night Saturday was! All who were involved did such an amazing job! The painting, the building, the cleaning, the acting, the tech, the inviting, the labour, the commitment; all of it was amazing! I am always amazed at how much talent we have in our group. And I am truly blessed by all who came to help out before and after the banquet.

But we are not finished!

Our goal with the Christmas banquet is to spread the message of Jesus to our community. That is our main purpose in doing all that work. Now that the evening is over, the purpose is not finished! There are a lot of people that came who may have questions, who may be excited about more events we do, or excited about hanging out in a group of friends who accept them as they are. Then there will be some who just came for the food and to support their friends – and that’s great too! But to continue this work, you need to pray! God hears you when you pray, and you need to continue to pray for all those who came. In fact, take a second right now and say a short quick prayer for one or more people that you knew at that banquet…

Remember, our events are done, but we will have two more bible studies into December; this week and next. So if you, or someone you know, wants to come out, you always know that you are more than welcome to join us on Wednesday nights at the Schuman’s house.
