I’ve been thinking a lot about how things are going with U-Turn, and I am really excited about what we have going on for the rest for this year (Not a huge surprise really, because I’m always really excited, but there are a lot of really neat things going on!)! So here’s a couple of those exciting things:

We are studying through Matthew 10 on Wednesday. Very cool. If you haven’t come out in a long time, we miss you. Come back! And if you haven’t ever come out, come join us! It is a good time. ........and there’s food!
Friday Night
Jr. Highs, bust out those sweet bowling shoes! Polish them off, cuz we’re hitting the lanes on Friday with some glow bowling! I totally forget who our champs were from last year. Someone remind me and I’ll set up a little contest. Bowling for 2 games is $8.00, try to bring close change. Thanks!
***also I need an extra driver for Friday night. If someone has a parent with a van (or two parents with two cars), can you let me know and I will get in touch with them. Thanks!***

FAST FAST
Wow it’s here already!
April 13th is our annual Fast Fast (our version of the 30 hour famine).
The rundown: We fast for 30 hours and raise money. All that money goes to support Ramon and Taiara (Orphans in the care of Chain of Love in
After we raise money, we spend the last 15 hours together here at the church. We play games, hang out, watch movies, go for a sunrise slurpee run, and then eat breakfast together. Super fun! If you have never been out to one, ask the other youth what they think of it. I’m sure you will be convinced!
*This year I have been challenged to do something a little bit different. So now you can choose between two different Fasting options.
Option 1: 30 Hour Fast – This Fast begins at 2am Friday April 13th and go until 8am Saturday April 14th. This is the regular fast that we do every year and is most recommended.
Option 2: 60 Hour Fast – This Fast begins at 6pm Wednesday April 11th and goes until 8am Saturday April 14th. This is only for those who want to fast for a longer period of time. This is much more difficult and draining. Anyone who wants to do this type should speak to me first and have their parent’s permission.
