Happy New Year!

Hello, hello. It has been a while. I feel like I’ve been gone a long time. Some of you have been gone a long time! Well, we are all back now and ready to head into a new year. As it has been approaching, I have been getting more and more excited about what’s going to be happening. This email might get really long, so I will provide an outline (heh heh):

Friday Nights

This Friday we are going to go tobogganing! Yippee! We are meeting at the church at the regular time (7:00pm) and we will be driving over to 7 Hills. This is a double event, so everyone grades 7-12 is invited! Please bring super warm cloths and something to sled on (toboggan, crazy carpet, cafeteria tray, etc). Also if your parents want to come, they are more than welcome! We might need some extra room to fit all the sleds too!

Now, you may have heard that there is a blizzard coming around this week, and Friday is supposed to be psycho cold. We will play it by ear, but if it is too crazy, I will have an indoor contingency plan! I will keep you all posted and keep checking the weather at the 5 day forecast. So far it looks decent.

Planning Meeting

Well, it is that time again! Time to have a planning meeting! Please feel free to come and share your input to what events you would like between now and the end of May. This meeting will be on Tuesday January 16^th in the Youth Room at 7:00pm

180 –Bible Study

Beginning this Wednesday! We are going to do a series on knowing God’s will and then move on to a study through the book of Matthew. I am very excited for both of these! I would strongly recommend you come for these studies.

-Leadership Prayer Retreat – March 2^nd (perhaps to the 3^rd)

-Fast Fast –supporting Taiara and Ramon in Brazil – April 13-14

-Youth Retreat 2007 – Official Dates: May 25^th-27^th –Speaker: Randy Carter (woot!)

-We are meeting this Friday at 6:00 pm. Please be on time! We will talk about chapter 3, please read it in advance. ;)

-We will be talking about this next year coming up.
