Seasons Greetings - Banquet Week

Ah, seasons greetings!

Today really began to feel like Christmas time. Today in chapel at seminary, they did a reading of the entire birth of Christ from the gospel of Luke. I was really able to reflect on it on the way to church. What a huge series of events that took place. Wow. It is so humbling to be reminded of this. God is good.

If you’re interested read Luke 1 and 2 and Matthew 1 and 2. Read them both. Awesome (in the truest sense of the word).

So with God’s great gesture in mind, here are the happenings of this week:

Bible Study this week is at the church. Not the regular place. Same time. Come earlier if you want, we will be working hard. Good times....

Banquet

Setup

Just a reminder to all, we are setting up this week. There will be people here from 10-9pm every day setting up. If you have a desire to help please come and we will put you to good use. Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday! We made some good progress.

Actors

In hindsight, I have realized my schedule mistake. We should have rehearsed the last two acts last night because you were all there. Hmm. Sorry about that. So, we will be rehearsing with anyone who is here Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Perhaps if everyone could try to be here for Thursday? We will go with what we have.

Remember: Dress rehearsal is on Friday night at 7 pm. FINAL DRESS is on Saturday AM at 10:00 – 1:00pm. Everyone must be at the Dress Rehearsals.

Also a reminder all actors, don’t forget to be on the look out for costumes! You are responsible for finding your costumes! If you need help, talk to Lisa Lindsay. She will tell you what you need. You need to have it together for Friday’s dress rehearsal.

FOOD BANK

We will be collecting food for our food bank at the banquet. Please bring non-perishable food items to the Banquet on Saturday. You can help someone immensely through your donations. Very cool. There will be a box by the door when you come in. (Dawna, remind me to save a box for that! heh)

PTL

Just a praise item, we sold more than the number of tickets I made! That is awesome! 108 people was the final count! Cool to watch God work..
