Subject: Oh, the places we will go!

Well good day to you all!

The summer is coming to a close, which for most of you is not the most exciting thing, for others (2 of you according to the blog poll) you are excited about school starting. Well, there is a silver lining to the cloud of routine, bedtimes, and curfews.

Youth will be starting again!

Hey random question: If I am tying and want to put a sentence in brackets, and following that sentence, I want to put a smiley, do I still need another bracket?

Example:

a) I like bananas (especially with peanut butter and club soda ;).

b) I like bananas (especially with peanut butter and club soda ;)).

c) I like bananas (especially with peanut butter and club soda ;) ).

I’m confused. What do you think?

Anyhow, YA YOUTH!!! I am very excited about the lineup for Friday nights this fall. Especially the kickoff event! It is secret for now, but soon to be revealed. This year youth will begin on September 15^th. I may have misled some of you by putting the incorrect date in a bulletin insert two weeks ago (Sorry Caitlin, you are not delirious…). Invite your friends to the kickoff especially. We want lots of people!

September 8^th is Harvest Moon. I still have tickets! Buy them! $35.50 each.

We have a new online calendar. There are a number of ways to access it.

You can let your friends know about any of the Friday events going on. With all the information at your fingertips, you can always know what to tell your friends.

I will add other dates soon, but for now it’s just Friday’s.

Student Leadership will begin soon too. Keep your ears open (instead of closing them). If you want some information about student leadership dates and requirements, come to the information meeting in Wednesday the 30^th. Woot. (That’s tomorrow).
